Aftermarket ANSI Pump Parts: 223 OEM Numbers Cross-Referenced

YSM manufactures aftermarket, non-OEM ANSI pump replacement parts for ASME B73.1 pumps of the Goulds 3196 type and Durco Mark 3 type, made to those dimensional patterns under two programmes, G196 and D Mark III. Both programmes cover the same nine part groups: casing, impeller, cover, adaptor, frame, bearing housing, feet, shaft and sleeve, each listed with its YSM reference and the OEM part number it cross-references. Interchange applies only to the same size designation, group and configuration, confirmed against the nameplate and the installed pump drawing before quotation. Complete replacement pumps by make follow below.

Part interchangeability applies to the corresponding size, group and configuration in the G196 and D Mark III programmes; the pump nameplate identifies the matching part before order.

Parts Coverage by Series

An installed ANSI pump routinely outlives its paperwork, and sometimes its maker’s interest in it. What keeps it serviceable is the standard itself: ANSI/ASME B73.1 fixes envelope and interface dimensions by size designation, so a casing, impeller or shaft can be manufactured to the referenced design’s dimensional logic and reviewed for fit on drawings before anything ships. YSM runs two such programmes — G196 for 3196-type pumps and D Mark III for Mark III-type pumps — each covering the full wet-end and power-end part scope, manufactured to the same B73.1 logic and confirmed against the pump nameplate rather than assumed from a reference number.

Goulds, 3196, Durco and Mark III are trademarks of their respective owners. YSM Pumps is an independent manufacturer and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by ITT Goulds Pumps or Flowserve. Interchangeability refers to dimensional interchangeability of the referenced standard designs; verify size, group and configuration from the pump nameplate before ordering.

Sectional Drawings & Parts Lists

The sectional sheets are the working documents of the parts programme: find the part on the drawing, read its position number, and send that number with the nameplate data. Positions on these sheets are the same references carried in quotations and order documents, so an enquiry that quotes them starts a review cycle ahead. G196 sheets are published for the STX, MTX and XLT-X frames as labelled; identification for the other published frame sizes follows the same position-number scheme during review.

OEM Part Number Cross-Reference

Most maintenance records hold one numbering system — the OEM’s — and an enquiry does not need it translated first: every position in both programmes carries a YSM reference number alongside the OEM part number of the referenced standard design it is manufactured to interchange with, dimensionally, at the same size and group. The tables publish that mapping in full, wet end by size first, then the power-end and accessory groups. Quote whichever number the record holds; the review confirms size, group and configuration from the pump nameplate before quotation, exactly as it does for the position numbers on the sectional sheets above. Selected numbers also have a page of their own in the pump part number lookup, which names the part, its size and frame or group, and the other positions that belong to the same size.

Reference & OEM number finder

Type an OEM number, a YSM reference, a pump size or a group, or filter by programme and part; plain typing works — 2×3-8 finds 2×3-8. The finder searches only the published cross-reference set in the tables below, and a match is a cross-reference for quotation review, not a fit conclusion — size, group and configuration are still verified from the pump nameplate.

OEM part numbers appear for identification and cross-reference only: each names the part of the referenced standard design that the YSM reference is manufactured to interchange with, dimensionally, at the same size and group. Suffix variants within one position — covers carrying B, D, E or F, shafts carrying S — are configuration variants, and the applicable one is confirmed during review. Numbers and size designations follow the source interchange sheets; size, group and configuration are verified from the pump nameplate before any order is accepted.

Available Materials

Titanium shaft sleeve machined by YSM as a replacement pump part
A titanium shaft sleeve machined at YSM for an exotic-alloy pump — sleeves, shafts and wet-end parts are produced in the same material grade as the pump they fit, with material certification on request.
Wet-end replacement parts are available in CF8M (316SS), CD4M / CD4MCu duplex, CN7M (Alloy 20 type), WCB carbon steel, Hastelloy B and C, 100% Nickel, Titanium and Zirconium alloy. The list is backed by the foundry rather than a supplier catalogue: patterns and drawings are held in house, castings run through sand, lost-foam and V-process routes, every impeller is dynamically balanced and every casing pressure-tested — the manufacturing base is documented in the factory review.

What the list means

A replacement part can be supplied in the installed pump’s material — or reviewed for an upgrade where the service has outgrown it. State the required material with the part positions, or send the liquid, concentration and temperature and let the review propose the options.

What it does not mean

Material availability is not a chemical compatibility approval. The same acid name can be pumped in one alloy at one strength and defeat it at another, so material selection is confirmed against your liquid, concentration and temperature with the engineering team — the material input checklist prepares that review.
Back shroud and hub of a two-tonne CD4MCu impeller with a person for scale
Back shroud of a two-tonne CD4MCu impeller reverse engineered from a customer’s sample for a customer in the United States. CD4MCu is one of the standard grades in this list, and castings of this size run through the same works as the smaller wet-end parts — see reverse engineering for parts that are obsolete or undocumented.

How to Order Replacement Parts

Five enquiry routes, ordered by speed. Whichever route starts the conversation, the review confirms size, group, configuration and material before quotation — nothing is quoted on faith from a reference number alone.

Nameplate photo

The fastest route: model, size, group and serial let the review confirm the exact part revision without disassembly. How to read a pump nameplate →

Part number

Send the OEM or YSM reference number with the required quantity — the finder and cross-reference tables above map one numbering system to the other, and position numbers from the sectional sheets serve the same purpose.

Material

State the required wet-end material, or ask for a review against the liquid, concentration and temperature. Material input checklist →

Drawing or sample

For obsolete or modified parts, reverse engineering works from your drawing, sample or dimensioned photographs — YSM maintains its own drawings and patterns, with inspection reports, dynamic balancing for impellers and pressure testing for casings.

Bought-out components

SKF or equivalent bearings, John Crane or equivalent mechanical seals, WEG or equivalent motors — stated with the parts order and confirmed in the quotation.
In a pump-down situation, say so in the first message: the urgent parts RFQ checklist collects operational priority, identification, material, inspection and delivery data in one request.

Send Your Parts Requirement

Attach a nameplate photo or part list and the reply is a reviewed quotation — part identification confirmed against nameplate data, material options where the service calls for them, and lead time. Finished orders ship with inner cartons plus non-fumigation wooden export crates as the standard packaging mode; inspection documentation follows the scope stated in the enquiry.

Replacement Parts FAQ

How do I identify the right replacement part?

Send a nameplate photo and the position number from the sectional sheets above. The nameplate carries model, size, group and serial; the position number identifies the part on the drawing. Size, group and configuration are confirmed before quoting, so the pump does not need to be disassembled for measurement first.

Are YSM parts interchangeable with my existing pump?

G196-programme parts are manufactured to be dimensionally interchangeable with Goulds 3196 pumps of the same size and group, and D Mark III-programme parts with Durco Mark III type pumps of the same size and group. Interchange is confirmed against your nameplate data before any order is accepted — a reference number alone is not treated as a fit conclusion.

Which materials can be supplied?

CF8M, CD4M/CD4MCu, CN7M, WCB, Hastelloy B and C, 100% Nickel, Titanium and Zirconium alloy. If the right material is not certain, send the liquid, concentration and temperature and the engineering team reviews the options — availability is not a chemical compatibility approval.

What if my part is obsolete or has no number?

Send a drawing, a sample or clear photographs with key dimensions. YSM maintains its own drawings and patterns and reverse-engineers parts on that evidence, with inspection reports, dynamic balancing for impellers and pressure testing for casings.

Do you supply complete pumps or only individual parts?

Scope is configurable: individual replacement parts, bare wet ends or complete pumps, under the same review discipline. If the repair-or-replace decision is still open, the repair-or-replace guide frames it before any quotation.

Can bearings, mechanical seals and motors be included?

Yes — bought-out components are supplied alongside manufactured parts: SKF or equivalent bearings, John Crane or equivalent mechanical seals, WEG or equivalent motors. State them with the parts list so the quotation carries one scope.

What inspection documentation comes with replacement parts?

Inspection reports accompany the manufacturing record — impellers are dynamically balanced and casings pressure-tested as standard, and the wider quality programme is documented in the factory review. State any further documentation requirements in the enquiry so scope is fixed at quotation.

Are OEM or branded (ODM) orders supported?

Yes — OEM and ODM programmes are part of the standard offer (see About YSM Pumps). Branding, documentation and packaging requirements enter the same technical-commercial review as the parts themselves; state them in the enquiry rather than after order.

How is pricing confirmed?

Quotations are issued against a reviewed identification — part positions, material, quantity and inspection scope — not against a reference number alone, which is why no public price list exists for the programme. Send the nameplate data and requirements; the quotation then references the confirmed parts it prices.

Request a Parts Quotation

The form below carries the initial request; drawings, nameplate photos and any remaining data can follow during review. The technical review uses, where available: a nameplate photo (model, size, group and serial), the position numbers from the sectional sheets, OEM or YSM reference numbers with quantities, the required wet-end material — or the liquid, concentration and temperature for a material review — inspection and documentation needs, destination and target delivery date. For obsolete or modified parts, add a drawing, sample or dimensioned photographs. In a pump-down situation, state the operational priority: the urgent parts RFQ checklist collects everything in one request.

Open “Add technical details” to fill in what you know, and mark anything uncertain as unknown — a marked gap is reviewable, a silent one is not.

Replacement Parts Decision Guide

Selection boundaries save both sides a review cycle: the fastest quotation starts on the right page. This page is the parts path for installed B73.1 pumps of the two referenced patterns; the lists below mark where a different starting point serves the enquiry better.

Start with this page when

  • An installed 3196-type or Mark III-type pump needs wet-end or power-end parts, and a nameplate, reference number or sample is available.
  • The part is obsolete, modified or undocumented and needs the reverse-engineering path.
  • Bought-out components — bearings, mechanical seals, motors — travel with the parts order.
