ISO Range · KVT Vertical Turbine
The KVT range is a vertical turbine family in VS1 and VS6 configurations: single or multistage with closed impellers, stages bolted together and side discharge through the pump head. The concentric discharge removes radial loads from the column bearings.
Pressure to 85 bar (1,230 psi). Series-level figures bound the envelope; the operating point of the specific size governs, confirmed on the reviewed curve.
Quick Selection Summary
| Capacity | to 13,600 m³/h (60,000 US gpm) | Heads | to 850 m (2,780 ft) |
| Pressure | to 85 bar (1,230 psi) | Temperature | −70 to 120 °C (−94 to 250 °F) |
Series-level figures bound the envelope; the operating point of the specific size governs the selection. Performance is confirmed against your duty point during the review.
Features and Benefits
- Single or multistage with closed impeller(s), stages bolted together, side discharge through pump head
- No radial loads on column bearings thanks to the concentric discharge
- High efficiency
- API 610 version available on request; foundation ring optional; shaft sheathing available; a suction inducer can be fitted
Applications
- Seawater and River Water Intake
- Condenser Circulating Water
- Ammonia Transfer
- Boiler Feed
- Cryogenics
Design & Manufacturing
The KVT range follows vertical turbine conventions in the VS1 (wet-pit) and VS6 (can) configurations; an API 610 version is available on request.
Wet-end castings run through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports; the material grade is confirmed to the liquid at selection.
Dimension tables are not published for this range. Envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed against your installed pump or project datasheet during the selection review.
Replacing Installed Pumps
The KVT range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations; replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review.
Start from the ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 range hub, or send the nameplate with the duty as run today.
Request a Selection
A complete enquiry closes in one review cycle. Include the duty point — normal, minimum and maximum flow with required head — the liquid with its concentration, temperature, specific gravity, viscosity and solids; the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service; documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement; motor voltage and frequency; and quantity, inspection or documentation needs, destination and target delivery date. Anything unknown can be stated as unknown — a marked gap is reviewable, a silent one is not.
Prepare it faster with the selection data guide; then send the enquiry.
KVT Vertical Turbine Pump FAQ
What is the difference between the VS1 and VS6 configurations?
VS1 is the wet-pit, open-sump configuration; VS6 is the double-casing (can) configuration. Which one fits is decided by the installation — sump or can — during the selection review, and an API 610 version is available on request.
Can the KVT replace an installed Sulzer-type pump?
Yes — the range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations. Replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review; nothing is promised from a family name.
Do you publish dimension tables for this range?
No. Selections are quoted against the duty point and the installed pump’s documentation; envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed during the selection review rather than read from a published table.
Which materials are available?
Wet-end castings are produced through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports. The material grade is confirmed to the liquid and its concentration at selection.
What data closes a selection in one cycle?
The duty point as run today, the liquid with temperature and concentration, the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service, documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement, motor voltage and frequency, and quantity with destination. Anything unknown, stated as unknown.
What are the lead time and warranty for this pump?
Typical lead time is 4 weeks for a complete pump, 2 weeks for a bare wet end and 1 week for replacement parts, from deposit and approved drawings. Warranty is 12 months from shipment against defects in materials and workmanship within the reviewed duty. Late shipment attributable to YSM is compensated at 0.5% of contract value per week, capped at 5%.
What are the payment and delivery terms?
30% T/T deposit within 7 days of order, 70% T/T before shipment, or irrevocable L/C at sight; export-grade wooden-case packing; any Incoterms 2020 term (EXW Zibo, FOB Qingdao, CIF, DAP/DDP) as agreed in the quotation. Factory witness testing and third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) are accepted. Full terms: Commercial Terms
