KM Multistage Casing Pump

Multistage casing pumps with precision cast components, end or radial suction, multiple nozzle orientations: heads to 1,000 m for boiler feed, RO and boosting. Non-OEM, by YSM.

ISO Range · KM Multistage

The KM range is a multistage casing pump family for high-head duties — boiler feed, reverse osmosis, pressure boosting — with precision cast components and end or radial suction configurations.

600 m³/h (3,000 US gpm)Capacity, series maximum
1,000 m (3,300 ft)Head, series maximum
204 °C (400 °F)Temperature, series maximum

Pressures to 114 bar (1,650 psi), by material and size. Series-level figures bound the envelope; the operating point of the specific size governs, confirmed on the reviewed curve.

Design & Manufacturing

The KM range is a ring-section multistage design: stages built up on precision cast components, with the suction and nozzle orientation fixed at selection to match the piping layout.

Wet-end castings run through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports; the material grade is confirmed to the liquid at selection.

Dimension tables are not published for this range. Envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed against your installed pump or project datasheet during the selection review.

Replacing Installed Pumps

The KM range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations; replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review.

Start from the ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 range hub, or send the nameplate with the duty as run today.

Request a Selection

A complete enquiry closes in one review cycle. Include the duty point — normal, minimum and maximum flow with required head — the liquid with its concentration, temperature, specific gravity, viscosity and solids; the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service; documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement; motor voltage and frequency; and quantity, inspection or documentation needs, destination and target delivery date. Anything unknown can be stated as unknown — a marked gap is reviewable, a silent one is not.

Prepare it faster with the selection data guide; then send the enquiry.

KM Multistage Casing Pump FAQ

Which suction configurations are available?

End suction or radial suction, with multiple nozzle orientations available on the radial suction configuration; the orientation is fixed at selection to match the piping layout.

Can the KM replace an installed Sulzer-type pump?

Yes — the range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations. Replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review; nothing is promised from a family name.

Do you publish dimension tables for this range?

No. Selections are quoted against the duty point and the installed pump’s documentation; envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed during the selection review rather than read from a published table.

Which materials are available?

Wet-end castings are produced through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports. The material grade is confirmed to the liquid and its concentration at selection.

What data closes a selection in one cycle?

The duty point as run today, the liquid with temperature and concentration, the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service, documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement, motor voltage and frequency, and quantity with destination. Anything unknown, stated as unknown.

What are the lead time and warranty for this pump?

Typical lead time is 4 weeks for a complete pump, 2 weeks for a bare wet end and 1 week for replacement parts, from deposit and approved drawings. Warranty is 12 months from shipment against defects in materials and workmanship within the reviewed duty. Late shipment attributable to YSM is compensated at 0.5% of contract value per week, capped at 5%.

What are the payment and delivery terms?

30% T/T deposit within 7 days of order, 70% T/T before shipment, or irrevocable L/C at sight; export-grade wooden-case packing; any Incoterms 2020 term (EXW Zibo, FOB Qingdao, CIF, DAP/DDP) as agreed in the quotation. Factory witness testing and third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) are accepted. Full terms: Commercial Terms
