DW Wear-Resistant Single Stage Pump

YSM DW · ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 · Non-OEM equivalent for an installed Sulzer WPP of the same size and frame or group, confirmed on the nameplate and installed pump drawing

Single stage pumps for corrosive and abrasive applications: erosion-reducing hydraulic design, materials selected to the liquid, gas removal construction available. Non-OEM, manufactured by YSM.

ISO Range · DW Wear-Resistant

The DW range carries abrasive and corrosive duties where durability decides the lifecycle cost: an erosion-reducing hydraulic design, wet-end materials selected to the liquid, and a gas removal construction where entrained gas is part of the duty.

Features and Benefits

  • Designed for corrosive and abrasive applications where durability is essential
  • A special hydraulic design reduces erosion, and careful material selection for corrosive conditions gives extended working life and reliability
  • Gas removal construction is also offered

Applications

  • Abrasive and viscous liquids
  • Abrasive fibrous and non-fibrous slurries
  • Abrasive large solids and gas containing liquids and slurries
  • Gas containing slurries in self-priming applications

Design & Manufacturing

The DW range applies the European single stage process pump conventions to wear service: hydraulic passages shaped to reduce erosion, wet ends cast in grades matched to the corrosive condition.

Wet-end castings run through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports; the material grade is confirmed to the liquid at selection.

Dimension tables are not published for this range. Envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed against your installed pump or project datasheet during the selection review.

Replacing Installed Pumps

The DW range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations; replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review.

Start from the ISO 5199 / ISO 2858 range hub, or send the nameplate with the duty as run today.

Request a Selection

A complete enquiry closes in one review cycle. Include the duty point — normal, minimum and maximum flow with required head — the liquid with its concentration, temperature, specific gravity, viscosity and solids; the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service; documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement; motor voltage and frequency; and quantity, inspection or documentation needs, destination and target delivery date. Anything unknown can be stated as unknown — a marked gap is reviewable, a silent one is not.

Prepare it faster with the selection data guide; then send the enquiry.

DW Wear-Resistant Pump FAQ

How does the DW handle abrasive slurries?

An erosion-reducing hydraulic design and wet-end materials selected to the corrosive condition carry the abrasive duty; a gas removal construction is available where entrained gas is part of it.

Can the DW replace an installed Sulzer-type pump?

Yes — the range is offered as a non-OEM alternative for equivalent Sulzer-type installations. Replacement feasibility and interface dimensions are confirmed against the installed pump’s documentation during the selection review; nothing is promised from a family name.

Do you publish dimension tables for this range?

No. Selections are quoted against the duty point and the installed pump’s documentation; envelope and interface dimensions are confirmed during the selection review rather than read from a published table.

Which materials are available?

Wet-end castings are produced through YSM’s own foundry routes — sand, lost-foam and V-process — with traceable inspection reports. The material grade is confirmed to the liquid and its concentration at selection.

What data closes a selection in one cycle?

The duty point as run today, the liquid with temperature and concentration, the wetted material and sealing arrangement in service, documentation of the installed pump where this is a replacement, motor voltage and frequency, and quantity with destination. Anything unknown, stated as unknown.

What are the lead time and warranty for this pump?

Typical lead time is 4 weeks for a complete pump, 2 weeks for a bare wet end and 1 week for replacement parts, from deposit and approved drawings. Warranty is 12 months from shipment against defects in materials and workmanship within the reviewed duty. Late shipment attributable to YSM is compensated at 0.5% of contract value per week, capped at 5%.

What are the payment and delivery terms?

30% T/T deposit within 7 days of order, 70% T/T before shipment, or irrevocable L/C at sight; export-grade wooden-case packing; any Incoterms 2020 term (EXW Zibo, FOB Qingdao, CIF, DAP/DDP) as agreed in the quotation. Factory witness testing and third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) are accepted. Full terms: Commercial Terms
